Seeing Double:Twin Boys First Birthday Milestone Session
As a photographer, I love working with babies and young children. It reminds me of when my own children were small, and brings me so much joy.
It seems like just yesterday that my children were babies, celebrating their first birthday, but as I write this, it’s been five years since my youngest was a baby. It’s true what they say- the days are long, but the years are short. Those precious years are over in the blink of an eye. Perhaps that’s why I love milestone sessions so much. I know that those precious moments are fleeting, and I feel a deep longing in my heart to capture those sweet memories for other mothers who I know will be just like me five years from now, looking back on the memories of their children’s littleness, feeling a strange mixture of sadness and joy all at the same time.
When I was asked to capture this first birthday milestone for these adorable twins, I was over the moon with excitement. I already love photographing babies as it is, but TWINS?! Double the fun!
