Adoptable Dogs in Albuquerque, New Mexico
When I am able, I volunteer my time with local shelters and rescue groups in the Albuquerque Metro Area to photograph dogs and give them nice photos that capture their personalities. The hope is that these photos will gain the dogs more exposure and help boost their chances of being adopted.
This month, I worked with A Barking Chance Rescue and photographed three adoptable dogs named Cano, Raiden, and Poppy. A Barking Chance Rescue is a rescue organization in Central New Mexico that takes in at-risk dogs from local shelters, places them through foster homes so they can decompress from the shelter and adjust to household life, and then adopts them to loving families!

Raiden
Raiden is a cattle dog mix with the cutest little bobbed-tail. He is smart and eager to please, friendly with dogs and children, and walks nicely on a leash! He is incredibly outgoing and fun-loving and would make an amazing family dog!

Cano
Cano is Raiden’s littermate, believe it or not! They look very different, but are both Aussie/cattle dog mixes. Cano is a little shy at first, but very loving and friendly. He does well with other dogs and cats, and walks well on a leash. He is very smart and eager to please, and seems to respond very well to treats. He will be amazing dog for the right family! Poppy
Poppy is a sweet medium sized cattle dog mix. She almost reminds me of a corgi or beagle in terms of her size, and she has a wonderful, friendly demeanor. When you meet her, she wants to be best friends right away. She walks on a leash gently, is potty trained, and is friendly with other dogs and children.
