Three Easy and Healthy DIY Treat Recipes to Try with Your Dog

Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Dog Treats
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup unsalted natural peanut butter
1/2 cup warm water
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, flour, and peanut butter.
Add the warm water to the mixture and stir until well combined.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut the dough into desired shapes (e.g. bones, circles, etc.) using a cookie cutter.
Place the treats on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly golden.
Allow the treats to cool completely before serving to your dog.

Ingredients:
1 large sweet potato
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
Wash and dry the sweet potato.
Cut the sweet potato into thin slices (about 1/4 inch thick).
Place the sweet potato slices on a lined baking sheet and bake for 2 hours, or until crispy.
Allow the chews to cool completely before serving to your dog.
Carrot and Apple Dog Biscuits:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup grated carrots
1/2 cup chopped apples
1 egg
1/4 cup water
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, oats, carrots, and apples.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg and water together.
Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
