Watch Me Grow: From Puppy to Dog
Three years ago, I went to a backyard BBQ at a friend’s house. I came home with a puppy.
My husband was less than thrilled. He didn’t want another dog. (He’s the classic dad who didn’t want the dog, but ends up being best friends with the dog). But, my husband loves me, and I think he knew I needed this puppy. So, off we went to Petco to get toys, puppy pads, and all the things we would need.
We named him Angus, and as he grew, he quickly stole our hearts and grew into a big, beautiful dog.
He is smart, loyal, and protective, and he makes us laugh with his hilarious antics. He is a beloved member of the family, and spoiled beyond measure.
Since I am a photographer, it only makes sense that I would have portraits of my dog, but I really think that everyone should. They are truly members of the family, and our love for them is real and deep. It’s important to capture them to remember for all time.
