New Mexico Senior Portrait Sessions
Graduating from high school is such a huge milestone worthy of major celebration.
Many of the ways we celebrate graduation involve carious traditions like ordering letterman jackets and class rings, attending senior proms, and walking the line at graduation, but my favorite tradition is senior portraits!
A senior portrait session is a photo session dedicated to celebrating your grad! Sessions are generally about an 1-2 hours long and focus on providing a variety of portraits with multiple poses and outfits that highlight their unique personality and interests and celebrate this momentous occasion in their life. All sessions are built to be body positive and confidence boosting, and are a lot of fun!
As your photographer, I walk your grad through a variety of poses and prompts to give a variety of posed and candid shots that are sure to look great on graduation announcements and on Instagram.
The best part is, theses sessions serve multiple purposes and have tremendous value:
1. These portraits commemorate and celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime milestone in your grad’s life, and will be treasured for years to come in ablums and wall art.
2. The images can be used for graduation announcements and yearbook pages, which is an important piece to senior year!
3. The images can be used as headshots when applying to colleges or jobs.
For many students, their senior year is the last year they will spend living at home, and the last year before major responsibilities like rent, groceries, electricity, and expensive college books kick in. To put it simply, senior year is very last drop of childhood. And, for families, it is the last year that getting everyone together in one place is easy, which is why I also recommend scheduling a family portrait session following your grad’s senior session.
